The Centre of Advanced Medicine (CAM) Day Clinic opened its doors in August 2014, as a surgical day clinic with one fully equipped theatre, handling only day surgical procedures ranging from dental and ophthalmic surgeries to gynaecological and ear, throat and nose procedures.

As a cost-effective surgical centre offering high-quality surgical care, the clinic grew at an incredible speed, and within four months a second theatre, also fully equipped, was launched.

Today the CAM Day Clinic offers a tranquil, homely medical and surgical environment that enables our patients to experience a stress-free and comfortable stay with us.

The clinic boasts 10 beds, five recliners, and advanced surgical equipment, allowing us to offer the type of quality service with which we have come to be associated. We are contracted by nearly all medical aid schemes and are part of Discovery’s Delta and Keycare Networks.

The CAM Day Clinic is operated by specialist doctors who are experts in their chosen fields. The clinic has an open door policy with respect to other doctors who may want to use the theatre facilities and the day ward. There are absolutely no frills or red tape, and the use of these facilities are just a phone call away. We also have consulting rooms to let, which are tailored to the needs of medical practitioners.
